Abstract: |
The excavation of Soke Dyke across the floodplain of the River Waveney, at compartment 26, uncovered upright posts and associated wooden remains. The nature of the tool marks on the timbers indicated a prehistoric date. It was thought that more detailed excavation was required. Assessment of samples of the worked timbers suggested Iron Age or Bronze Age date. [Au(adp)] |
