Abstract: |
Ivy Bank Mills were established in about 1860 for steam-powered worsted spinning and weaving and operated into the late 20th century, and the principal standing building is a three storey spinning mill, near which is a combined boiler house and warehouse, and small office block. A weaving shed and second warehouse were demolished in 2008-9. |
