Abstract: Border Archaeology was instructed in December 2011 by Mr M. Bound, Border Oak Design and Construction Ltd., on behalf of Mr B. Thomas, to undertake a programme of archaeological building recording in respect of the proposed demolition of the existing farmhouse at Stretford Bridge Farm (Planning Ref. DMN/112408/F), the exact scope of which was agreed with Julian Cotton Archaeological Advisor Herefordshire Council, specifically taking into account the substantial damage caused to the building in October 2009.
