Abstract: Wessex Archaeology was commissioned by CEMEX UK Marine Ltd and Lafarge Tarmac Marine Ltd to undertake an archaeological assessment of geophysical survey data as part of the heritage impact monitoring process implemented for aggregate extraction Area 458. The data consisted of sidescan sonar and multibeam bathymetry acquired in 2014 by Fugro EMU Limited. Three features have been identified within the Study Area. Two of the anomalies corresponded to anomalies identified in previous monitoring reports.
