Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology undertook an archaeological watching brief to monitor groundworks for the removal and replacement of six wooden utility poles, which comprised of the removal of the existing post, following which the original post holes were then augured to a depth of 1.8m before the new posts were put in place. The results of the watching brief were negative mainly given the very limited nature of the groundworks. No archaeological features, artefactual or ecofactual evidence was observed or recovered. |
