Abstract: |
Folliott House [GDII listed] , in Castlemorton Worcestershire is important architecturally and has original early-mid 18th century features. Folliott House is recognised as a nationally designated heritage asset graded at Grade II. It is a good typical example of a polite classical farmhouse with a curtilage Stable with intact interior, Cowhouse /Shelter sheds and a Cider House with cider press. [The remaining curtilage farm buildings are in separate ownership next door]. The architectural principle layout and phasing of the house has changed little in its overall plan form. This report is an assessment of significance of the heritage asset and its surroundings and analysis of the historic fabric as found and could be seen on 16th February 2021.There was one site visit made on 16th February 2021 to access and take photographs, equivalent to a Level 1-2 Building Recording, [Ref Understanding Historic Buildings A Guide to Good Recording Practice Historic England May 2016] |
