Abstract: |
Sweetclough Cottage dates from about 1800, and was built up to an earlier house which has since been rebuilt. It is a two-storey structure with small cellar, originally of one room on each floor, and originally may have been an annex rather than an independent dwelling, but it was later extended to the rear on two occasions. |
