Abstract: |
Greenfield House was built for James Buckley, owner of Greenfield Mill, and dates from the beginning of the nineteenth century. It is a double pile house with a classical frontage and service wing, but the rear is more in keeping with the local vernacular tradition, and contains some interesting moulded timber window surrounds. |
