Abstract: Allen Archaeology was commissioned by the British Film Institute to carry out a strip, map and record scheme on land for the construction of a single storey plant room. The site lies in an area of significant archaeological interest, with prehistoric activity nearby to the south and west of the site. The strip, map and record revealed that the site had been landscaped during the construction of the adjacent buildings which had reduced the ground level and removed any potential archaeological remains.
