Digital Data#
- 3DICONS
: 3D-ICONS is a pilot project funded under the European Commission’s ICT Policy Support Programme which builds on the results of CARARE and 3D-COFORM. 3D-ICONS brings together partners from across Europe with the relevant expertise to digitise in 3D architectural and archaeological monuments and buildings identified by UNESCO as being of outstanding cultural importance. The project will contribute content to Europeana aiming to increase the critical mass of engaging 3D content available to Europeana’s users.
- ARIADNE
: ARIADNE brings together and integrates existing archaeological research data infrastructures so that researchers can use the various distributed datasets and new and powerful technologies as an integral component of the archaeological research methodology.
