Managing Users#

Users#

Users do not need special access to read the wiki pages only to edit it. So in this case users are people who need to log in to edit or comment upon pages.

Groups Users can be grouped together to give them special permissions - more information on how to do this can be found in groups

Add a new user#

  1. go to the admin pages
  2. click on the users tab (you will see a list of current users)
  3. click on the add button
  4. fill in the fields
  5. click save

Change a users details#

  1. go to the admin pages
  2. click on the users tab (you will see a list of current users)
  3. click on the name of the user in the left hand list
  4. make the changes
  5. click save

Remove a user#

  1. go to the admin pages
  2. click on the users tab (you will see a list of current users)
  3. click on the name of the user in the left hand list
  4. click remove
  5. you will see an alert box asking you to confirm - click ok
