Upcoming CIfA Tea Break Talk – Introducing the Heritage Science Data Service

Join ADS Director, Prof Julian Richards for an in-depth look at the Heritage Science Data Service (HSDS), a critical new development in heritage and conservation research. 

Hosted by the CIfA Information Management Special Interest Group (IMSIG), this talk will provide an introduction to the recently launched Research Infrastructure for Conservation and Heritage Science (RICHeS) programme, an £80m investment transforming heritage science data management and the HSDS, which is providing digital services that form the core of the RICHeS programme.

This talk will cover new developments from the HSDS including our recently launched Catalogue of Services and Data Catalogue, or work with Hartree Centre at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) to develop collaborative virtual research environments and a small grants programme to support the deposit of additional data, and opportunities to work the Hartree software engineering team to develop more online tools.
