Recently the OASIS system, the online system for reporting archaeological investigations and linking research outputs and archives, has been migrated to a new version. Since January 2023 the previous version, OASIS IV, has remained online, but as a ‘read only’ version only.
With this migration complete we have now switched off access to the old version with approval from the OASIS Management Board. Any requests to the old version will now be redirected.
Please be assured that all data from OASIS IV has been migrated to OASIS V and backups of the data have been retained by the ADS in a private distributed version control system. All of the data from OASIS IV can be retrieved from this archived database if required.
For more details about OASIS V please read this recent blog post. For more information about how to use OASIS V see the OASIS help page. This page includes an extensive set of resources including a user friendly guide book, the OASIS technical manual, a series of training videos geared towards different user groups and a guide to the different terms on the OASIS form.
If you have any questions about OASIS please contact the OASIS Helpdesk.
