We are excited to announce the launch of our new User Management System (UMA), a centralised platform designed to streamline user access across our digital applications.
What is UMA?
UMA is a comprehensive User Management System that simplifies how users interact with digital services from both the ADS and HSDS. The primary goal of UMA is to:
- Provide a single, unified login mechanism for multiple applications
- Improve individual user account administration
- Reduce the complexity of managing multiple user accounts
What this means for you
As a user, you can now use a single unified login across all of our digital applications, whether that be OASIS or the HSDS Catalogue of Services and in the coming months the new deposition system called Ingest.
Within your account you can now change your own details, including name, email address and password. If you are the administrator of a larger organisation you can also manage all the users within your organisation and assign them permission to use certain systems.
Frequently Asked Questions
If I am an OASIS user, do I need to create a new account? No, your existing account details will continue to work.
Will my data be secure? Yes, UMA maintains the same high security standards as our previous systems, with encrypted passwords and restricted administrative access.
How do I access UMA? You can access UMA directly or you can access it directly via the login pages of our digital application (e.g. OASIS)
What if I need help? Please contact our support team at [email protected] for any questions or assistance.
We appreciate your patience as we implement this new system to improve your user experience.
