Abstract:		 Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken during groundworks prior to residential development. The investigation within the footprint of the development identified modern building foundations and make-up layers associated with the former cinema to the maximum dig depth. Monitoring of associated drainage trenches also recorded no significant archaeological features or deposits.
