We would like to highlight a funding opportunity offered by TownsWeb Archiving for heritage organisations to digitise their collections. Over the last six years the TWA Digitisation Grant has supported more than 110 heritage organisations, pledging £108,000 of financial support for different heritage projects.
The grants can be used for the digitization of bound volume collections, archive collections, and photograph collections.
The grant is available to the following UK based institutions:
- Public, private & charity archives
- Business/corporate archives
- Public & private libraries
- Museums
- Galleries
- Institutions and organisations that have applied before (even for the same project).
