ADS-easy data limitations

ADS-easy is a faster and cheaper way to deposit datasets with the ADS but due to the online deposition process there are some limitations in the file formats and file sizes that it can accept. You should always check that your dataset is suitable for deposition with ADS-easy before starting the deposition process.

ADS-easy does not allow the deposition of:

  • files not found in the list of accepted ADS-easy formats below
  • files over a maximum size of 100MB
  • deposits over a maximum of 1000 files
  • geophysical survey’s totalling more than 50Ha

If you are uncertain about whether you should use ADS-easy please contact us and we can talk to you about the options.
